Tomorrow we are off to Disneyland to celebrate Halle bear's 2nd birthday!  I am super excited!  It will be a special day!

I love being in Young Women's!  I love my girls!  Tonight was our annual Young Women in Excellence and we the leaders acted as flight attendants and sent the girls and their parents around the globe stopping at the "8" wonders of the world where each value was represented.  It was fun!

I have been waiting since April to hang this!!!  My new nativity from Mexico~

The decorations are slowly coming out and the Christmas music was heard in the car.  I would like to get in the spirit and stay there all month... we'll see.

Had our third Thanksgiving dinner tonight at Deb and Bill's.  It was wonderful!

Say what?

I did something last night that I am not proud of!

I swore I would NEVER do it!  I would not be caught dead taking part in this ridiculous event!  

I gave in when my friend who I trust and who does it "all the time" said we would just go see what it is all about...  Would you believe it?????   It was the most fun I have had in a while!

At one point I almost peed my pants I was laughing so hard!  It was like nothing I have ever experienced!  It was a success and it was fun!  I got stuff I didn't need of course...  My favorite of the night was a trampoline, I got the last one, and had to sit on it and fight people off it... Kim says, where are you gonna put that?  I said in tears laughing... my new house?!  

I am so happy I went.  I just may do it again, it was that funny!  Thanks Kim for making me go!  

Thanks~ giving!

I am indeed thankful for so many treasures in my life.
I am thankful for the abundant amount of blessings that my Heavenly Father has given me.
My children are the light of my life and I am thankful they are healthy, happy, smart and wonderful beings.
I am thankful that I get to be their mother!
I am overcome with gratitude for my beautiful husband who takes such good care of us!  Works so hard to give us the things we enjoy.  I am more in love with him today than ever before.  
I am thankful for my health!  I know this is a blessing without which would make life so much more difficult and often times not worth living.
I am thankful for so much family and so many friends that are a part of my life that I love and adore.
I am thankful that I can live in the best city in the greatest state in all the country!  I often times catch myself breathless at the beauty of the earth!
I am thankful for my freedom here and those who sacrificed their lives and for those who today still fight for the word PEACE~
I am thankful that I get to be with my loved ones today and partake in the bounty of the earth.  Thank you turkey for sacrificing your life and giving us food to eat...

I am thankful that I can recognize not just today but everyday that I am so happy.  That I have so much to be grateful for!

Heaven in a jar!

Really...  Kim puts her cupcakes in a jar and they are so yum!  They stay moist and yummy for days so you can nibble on them as you please... genius!

Perhaps!  But it is all we can think about and I wanted to give my loved ones a sneak peak at the house we put an offer on today...

I only took a couple pictures.  But as I said a "sneak peak"... it is a beautiful home on dreamy property and we would be very lucky to get it.  Fingers crossed!  Keep you posted!

Aubrey had her very first piano recital tonight~ she did wonderful!  I am SO proud of her musical abilities...  She loves piano and is really good at it.

Aubrey had a great game today!  Two goals!  Besides that, she was playing serious defense.  When she was out for a quarter she was even begging to go back in.  Maybe she does have an athletic bone?!  :)

And Dalin played his last game for the season today followed by a team party at Round Table!  Great season Dalin!  Very proud of you!

Every Tuesday night I hang with the youth in our ward.  We do different activities.  Tonight it was Zumba.  It was so fun!  They all loved it.  I am so glad I have been called into YW it is my favorite calling :)

Halle was with Carly at the mall and she stopped and went right under this... everyone at the mall laughed as they walked by...

On the way out she did it again and she didn't want to get out.  She wanted to walk with it on her head!

We had friends over for dinner and their little guy was eating and then we looked at him and he was out!  I miss these days!

Also Aubrey gave a talk today in Primary and did so good.  I was so proud of her!

What a day for D and I.  Dalin's game was cancelled this morning due to rain so that cleared up our schedule so we could go to the temple.  :)  It was lovely except they were running 50 min behind and we had a game at 3:00 still on.  I was in panic mode for a minute and D said "have faith" and guess what?  It all worked out!

Then I had already planned a night out for us.  Dinner and a movie.  So we barely got home from A's game and off we went again.  It was a real treat!

Oh and who knew J. Edgar Hoover was so fascinating?

It is a special day.  We did NOTHING~ kids had no school so they had play dates.  I should have done something cool on such a cool date!

What to do...

This house drama is driving us nuts!  We are stuck in a home that is too upside down to even mention, at an interest rate that is 4% higher than ones now.  And we can't do a darn thing.  The bank said "oh well, there is nothing we can do".  And in no uncertain words said you should just bail!
UGH~ the problem is, we LOVE our house!  We don't want to move!  But staying here is committing financial suicide!  Please help us with a solution!

Cut to: we went and talked to a sweet couple that own 80 acres up Bouquet.  They are ready to sell some lots... it was so fun to think about someday having our own land and build our dream home!  Keep dreaming Kel~

On Friday night we went to dinner at Buca di Beppo!

We surprised him with his skateboard.  His face was worth every penny!

6 years ago on a brisk New York day you came to us and we have since been blessed beyond words!  You are our love bug!  You are such a good boy!  To think I didn't want boys :) boy was I ever wrong!  I love you for every little magical thing that you are!  

I will post birthday pictures tomorrow night after the birthday outing with friends...  

Today was dynamic dad's day at school and since little grammy and grandpa are here visiting for your special day, grandpa got to go to school too!!  

This was so cute.  In Aubrey's class the kids told facts about their dad's and the dad's had to see if they could guess which dad it was.  Here is what Aubrey said about Darrin.  Pizza and soup?  38?  Hee hee!!

Also just want to say happy birthday mom!  You would have been 63 today!  I love you and miss you every day!  I am so happy I chose to have Dalin on your birthday.  It makes it an even sweeter day!
