New Year loot!

Tonight we celebrate along with NY so that we can all stay awake.  I remember the days of being in NY and celebrating with Greenland.  It hit me tonight that for as long as we were in NY we never went to Times Square to celebrate.  I never had a desire.  Watching it though made me sort of wish I had done that.  Oh well.

New Years resolutions?!

Still deciding whether or not to carry this on next year... I am pretty proud I did it for a year!  While some posts were down right dumb, most of them had meaning behind them and therefore were worth making note of in my digital journal.  I think based on the "happenins"from the end of this year I will have LOTS to write about this new year so perhaps you should very well tune in!!!

I knew when I left for five years and came back that I would NEVER take S. California for granted again.  It is days like today when I am reminded just how lucky we are to live here.  It doesn't get better!!

Today we did minute to win it games, viewed family slideshows and swam.  Of course we had good food too!
One game turned into an all out shaving cream fight!

On the road again...

We are going to Murrietta CA. to be with family for the week... will hopefully be able to report daily from there...

I spent a good portion of the day playing with the babies.  Of which we haven't named yet...

Christmas highlights...

EVERY year, Santa brings too much! 

But to see the joy on your children's faces makes it all worth it!

Over achievers...

For as long as I have known Jules she has wanted to be a nurse.  She has gone back to school a couple times to try to make that dream a reality, but her calling was to be at home with the kids (all 6)... but she still aspires and when given the chance to shadow D, she took it.  She did the night shift with him and was presented to all the patients as a medical student.  She loved it.  D loved it too... any chance he can get to teach :)

She sure looks legit!!  You can do it Jules.  Go back to school now!!

This was a nice surprise when I walked in for their holiday party.  He got to go visit Mrs. Kelly and do a dance!  :)

Last night Rockstar was taken from us by an animal of some sort... My heart is breaking!

Silent testimony...

That was the Christmas lesson today for YW.  It turned out great!  We didn't talk for 30 minutes.  Watched Luke 2, listened to Breath of Heaven and then each shared an object that illustrated our testimonies.  All without talking... we decorated the room too and had the lights dim the whole time.  

Then we went to Debs to celebrate my little brothers birthday...

I remember changing your diapers!!!  I can't believe you are 31!  I love you!
