Annual halloween party at church.  It was chaos getting there and I took Dalin despite his 103 temp and upset tummy.  But it was fun and we made it without any major problems!

I couldn't get out of the Disney store without this outfit.  She started taking off her clothes in the store to put the dress on... the princess phase has begun!

What?  So that means there is only 65 days left this year?  What?

I am really proud of myself for doing this.  I have a journal for the whole year, complete with pictures.  :)  I wonder if I will do it again next year?

Tonight Aubrey and I went with the youth in our ward to Lark Ranch.  A home for people with disabilities.  It was the highlight of  my year!  I love being with people that make me happy and they all make me so  happy!  They are a joy to be around and so much fun!  We danced, and chatted and ate treats. It was perfect!  Aubrey enjoyed it too!  Pictures to come.  I saw someone taking pictures.  I was too busy doing the macarena!

Lombardi ranch~

I told D at about noon, today is the only day we can do Lombardi.  You work the rest of the week... so off we went.  It was perfect!!

Early morning conversations...

Backstory:
My neighbors across the street are separated.  She moved to another house this weekend.  My kids and their kids play all the time!

Aubrey:
I want to see their new house.
Dalin:
When is Eric moving to the new house.
Aubrey:
He is staying in that house.  They will have two houses.
Pause...
Dalin:
I think they moved because she wants to watch what she wants on tv and he wants to watch something different.
Aubrey:
NO!  She could just watch tv upstairs and he could watch tv downstairs!
Aubrey:
I think she wanted more space
Dalin:
Their house has lots of space!
Dalin:
Someone else is gonna move in their house and then he will go to the new house.
Aubrey:
NO!  H and P (their kids) are lucky they can just sleep wherever they want!

They didn't include me at all in their conversation, and I am GLAD!!!

BTW~ I feel terrible for the situation across the street!

85 and still feisty!  I am so happy that we still have you in our lives and I am even more thankful that I got all your best attributes!  Mostly the feistiness!  :)  I love you more than words can express.  Happy day!  Glad we got to share it with you!

Lizard tails....

It was so cool, yesterday this lizard, who moved like a snake, was in our garage with this beautiful bright blue tail... of course I try to catch it with Aubrey and a neighbor girl watching intently.  I successfully get him but only after he shed his tail in two parts.  The tails kept moving like crazy after they detached and Aubrey thought that was the coolest thing ever!! 

Is that crazy how it detaches like that?!

Look how pretty that blue is!  I feel terrible about the lizard losing it!!

I forgot to tell about my fall down the stairs...

I hadn't had a bruise that good since I fell playing ice hockey!!  

Teacher appreciation...

I LOVE volunteering in Aubrey's class every Tuesday.  I am only there a little over an hour, but I get to work with all the kids and get my fill.  I do leave saying every week, I could NEVER be a teacher!  The patience you have to have is unreal.  I certainly appreciate all teachers very much!!!  But the teachers at Plum Canyon are some of the very best!!

As promised...

The incident went something like this:

We picked up Halle from Carly at the mall.  I pulled out of my parking space and proceeded down our isle and had just turned onto the next isle in the mall parking lot and a car pulled out in front of me causing me to SLAM on my brakes... well Dalin hadn't buckled himself in yet and he went from the very back row of the car to the front and pounded the center console with his mouth!  He lifted his head and there was blood everywhere!!  I saw teeth on the ground and freaked out!  I pulled over and investigated and couldn't tell exactly where the blood was coming from and if it was just baby teeth that were knocked out or what... I called dad and went straight to the ER.  D took care of him and in ten minutes were out of there.  A perk of the life we live... he had knocked out two baby teeth and left one hanging on by a thread.  He had punctured his lip with his tooth and has a good lac on his gum.  HARD lesson learned but now both kids put seat belts on immediately!!!

Mexico adventures pt 6

The end of a great week.  We went into San Lucas and did some water stuff!  We are home and D and I are both sick, (colds) and it is cold here!!  UGH~

Last night in paradise.  :(

Today we stayed here and swam AGAIN~

We love our new friends.  Everyone got along great!  We all went to dinner too!

Saying goodbye is never easy!  This time tomorrow night we will be in our own beds again.

Mexico adventures pt 4

We took our new friends to Puffer... Halle was being her normal silly self!  A huge moray eel had beached itself.  ( A dead one ) that was a trip.  Then we found a new place to eat dinner, sort of by default and really liked it!  :)

 We were gonna head in to San Lucas but decided to just hang.  It was another lazy, lovely day by the pool!  We made friends and we are going to take them to Puffer beach tomorrow.  :)

Swam for 8 hours today!!!!
