I am out of the house with plenty of time to spare. I have a movie and dinner to make with the girlfriends. I pull out of my driveway and see two dogs, a rot and a bulldog roaming the streets... I pull over. They are both very tired and thirsty. Very sweet dogs. No collars. UGH~ I go to the house nearest to where they are at and ask if they know anything. Nothing... I follow them down the hill coaxing them to go home, asking "where is home"... they enter an open garage and I hear a scream. A lady comes out and I say "I take it those are not your dogs?" No!! She starts to help me for a bit and then she starts walking them up the wrong way... I get frustrated. I get in my car and drive around the neighborhood looking for any open gates, any people I can ask... I finally get to the bottom of a culdesac and see a man and ask him if any of his neighbors have a bulldog? He points to a house and says I think they do... I turn around and see an open gate. YAY~ pretty sure I found their house. So I drive back up to find the dogs, they are back by my house and my neighbor is talking to them. I have him help me load them into my car. We get the bulldog in pretty easy, but the Rot, not having it. Until he jumps in my front seat. I then straddle my legs around him to get to the gas and the brake and we are off... I take them to the yard with the open gate, the nice neighbor helps me unload, and when we round the corner in the back yard to make sure there is water, we see a bulldog. AHHH~ we both panic thinking this is not their yard. But he quickly says they could have two. I am not sure. The dogs act like they know each other, so we decide to leave em. I am now, hairy, slobbery and stinky and 10 minutes late to the movie... I will have to go back and investigate the dogs situation, otherwise I won't sleep at night. But a good ending an hour later!
