Mexico day 4

A whale watching excursion. I was hoping for the experience my friend Sara had but not so lucky! We saw several whales and it was amazing. But none of them blew on us nor did we get to pet them :(

Alas it was a great day!!!!!!! Just being out on the water was enough for me!

Mexico day 3...

We had a fun morning swimming and being lazy by the pool...

At 2:45 we got picked up for our ATV excursion. We brought all of us! It was so fun!

We had been riding for about an hour and 25 minutes or so and we stopped for a "5 minute" period where those who wanted to play could do so. Darrin took the kids individually and had a blast... as time went by we realized we had been there longer than 5 minutes. More like 25. We saw our guide take off with one of the girls that was in our group. I overheard her say to him, "I don't want to get lost too"... it was then that we realized her friend (who was so rude and obnoxious by not listening to our guide and going off in front of us and hot dogging the whole time) was lost and they were going to try to find her. He said he would be right back. Well about 45 minutes later the sun was going down behind the mountain and there was no sign of her or our guide. The rest of our group (8 or 9 ATV's) got together and decided we were not gonna stay there any longer and put ourselves in danger! Keep in mind I had Laney and Halle with us. We decided to back track the way we came. We felt that would be the safest. The hour and a half ride back took place in the dark. I now had me and Laney with Halle and Aubrey all on my ATV. It was scary at times, but for the most part I was enjoying our adventure. Our two hour tour was now on 4 hours and some change. Listen, I know that I have the best baby ever, but until that moment I didn't know just how amazing she was. She never made a peep!! She laughed on the way back and was having a ball! When we got back to the place and the friend was there and crying. Still no sign of the girl. We all said we were sorry and got on the bus. Her friend came on the bus and said that the girl was at their hotel! Evidently she had ridden to the next town and hitched a ride! WHAT?! Oh if I could have seen that girl the things I would have said! She single handedly put me and my family in danger! It could have been really bad! An adventure none of us will forget!!!
