Forts are the best!

With a little help from mom and dad, the kids had a fun sleep over in a fort!

Why bother?

Days like today, I wonder why do I bother going to church?  Having Halle be there for three hours during her usual nap time is not fun!  After today, I have decided to take her home after the second hour and put her down.  We will all be better for it.

A whole lot of nothing...

I am in a food coma and so tired.  Love you La Cocina.!! I want to go to bed now~ but I am having to write something as to keep my pact with myself. 

Dalin had a baseball game today.  About halfway through the game, I hear "Dalin's mom?"  The women close to the dug out are trying to summons me.  Dalin was at the dug out gate asking for me.  I stand up and ask him, "what's up?"  To which he says, "I am bored!"  Everyone hears him and laughs!  I play it off like oh he is so funny... and go to him, wanting to strangle him.  What kid is bored playing baseball?  UGH~ Instead I told him daddy was on his way and he needs to hit it out of the park for him.  He perked up a bit and did just that.  Daddy got there in time to see his great hit.  I will post the video tomorrow cuz to do it now would require me to go downstairs and well I am going to sleep now.  Night.

What to write about...

This is a day where I am searching for something to write about.  My husband bought life insurance for our kids today.  And upped mine.  I think he is plotting a quadruple murder?!  Um... what else?  I am eating a cupcake that is not Kim's and I feel guilty!  It really is not as good, but it is sitting right in front of me.  Um... what else?  I am really sore from the gym on Monday and Tuesday.  So I didn't go today... Um... okay that is all for tonight!

Never Say Never!

Yes that is right!  I have Bieber fever!  Loved the movie!  Love him.  Not ashamed to say it!!!!!  Anyone else????????

Lucky I'm in love with my best friend...

Flowers, dinner, a massage and it didn't even end last night, he got up and took the kids to school!  I have the best husband in the world!  I already knew that, but yesterday it was confirmed yet again!  Thank you baby.  I love you!!

P.S.  And yes you caught me, I missed a day... but it was worth it :)

First game!

He did great.  It was so fun to watch these 5 and 6 year olds play ball.  They all ran for the ball no matter where it was hit while in the outfield.  And all 13 get to bat every inning.  They don't keep score.  I am very excited to watch him get better as the season goes on!

Happy Birthday to my oldest (longest not really my oldest) friend!
I vividly remember watching you do cartwheels in the hall and seeing how cool you were, I wanted desperately to be your friend!  28 years later I am elated that we are still friends.  You are my touch stone to so much of my childhood!  Love you!  And so proud of you!!!

I realize I am so behind!

I just got season 1 on DVD for Christmas.  I have three more episodes to go... My take on the show, SHEER BRILLIANCE!!!  I can't get enough of it!!  I was just in tears when Lea Michele and Idina Menzel sang I Dreamed a Dream.  UHHH mazing!!!!  I am a GLEEK for sure!!!!!!!  Back to the show!

We had our service auction tonight at church and these are all my goodies!  So fun!  That is home made apple jam folks.  Cute hair bows for Halle and a family home evening binder full of ideas and projects.  My cupcake stands were a hit and I added a cupcake from Bake You Happy on them.

All three of my kids done with bottle's by 14 months!  Hooray!  On to potty training  :)

After he burped in my face!

This is the only thing I could come up with today...
D just got home from work.  I made him my famous fried egg sandwich and I said come here and take a picture with me... he burps fried egg and diet dr. pepper I gag on the odor and I still managed to smile for the picture.  That is love!

14 months old...
