Grams' visit...

My 84 year old grandma decided to come down for a weekend visit.  It was very nice having her here.  She is a little depressed and constantly thinks she is dying, but I am certain a good dose of the Privett family helped her out.  She is probably thrilled to be back home and by herself, for a little while anyway.

This woman has the most amazing memory I have ever encountered, she can recall dates from the 30's.  She is still driving.  She is a fire cracker.  I have glimpses of what I will be like at 84.  Some of them I aspire to, others I swear I will not inherit.  I am so thankful to have my grandmother still with me and in my children's lives.  She is a beautiful woman!  Love you grams.

Hallelujah!  It is nice to know D played a small part in shaping those young men's lives.  But now we have daddy back and that is wonderful!!

Marvelous moms day

Aubrey's school hosts a day for moms.  It was so great!  We got there and had some breakfasts snacks and had a raffle.  I didn't win anything of course.  We then went to the the kids' room and the teacher had set up a tea party for us.  So cute.  The kids served us our brownies, cookies and fruit and poured us our tea.  Then about three or four times throughout the course of our eating, she yelled "RUBS" and the kids had to give us back rubs.  Each child took the microphone and read a poem about their mom.  It was a lovely day.  Aubrey was so sweet and I loved my poem.

She loves the water.  Look out Mexico here we come!  One more month!

It's a small world after all!!!

Yep.  We ran into our friends from New York.  Ended up hanging with them a good portion of the day.  It was fun catching up and re living old NY memories.  Dalin made a new best friend in Tommy.  But Aubrey is the one who can't stop talking about him.  :)  Krista, I sure hope you got a better group picture than mine.  

Off to the happiest place on earth!

Taking the kids out early and surprising them with a day at D land!  We are sooooo lucky to be so close to Disneyland and we go often!  Can't get enough.
