IKEA

I have to give a shout out to Ikea.  It was the source of furnishing many of my places.  I did however vow to never buy furniture there again when we left NY cuz I no longer had to.  :)  I went yesterday, first time since NY and I ended up getting some cool gadgets (no furniture though)!  Forget Disneyland, I am taking Halle to Ikea.  She was in heaven!

My little plumber...

Aubrey did a show at school that honored different community helpers.  It was a cute show.  All the kids sang all the songs together, having students take different roles as the helpers.  But when it came Aubrey's groups turn as the plumbers, no one sang except Aubrey and a friend.  They had the only "solo's".  Took me by surprise and of course made me beam with pride!  She did so good!!

She wanted to show me the sight word club that everyone puts their name on in the MPR.  She did it!!  She knows 2
300 words!!!!

About missing a day!  I didn't get home til 2 a.m.  :)

The Prince concert ROCKED!  Thank you Liz for taking me!  It was so fun!

Jury duty?

I think I totally missed the boat on getting out of it.  I didn't read my paper thoroughly and sure enough there was a section I could have filled out and sent back about trying to get out.  I have a legit reason.  BABY at home and no day care... UGH~ Now my date starts Monday and even if I mail it over night tomorrow, unless the Jury services is open on Sat. they won't get it on time.  I am so dumb!!!

Cut to: I have to go to court on Tuesday for my "failure to appear" which is such crap!!  I filled out the paper work and sent it in requesting a court date and they conveniently didn't get it.  ???  GIMMICK much?
