Only a month down. Not bad. I like to blog from the comfort of bed when little ones are asleep and our wifi hasn't worked upstairs... so out of sheer laziness I didn't blog for a month and some change. Sorry all my devoted followers :) I am up and ready to go. I think!
So the house, wow the house, where to start... it is beautiful! We have already made it ours. The kid's rooms and guest room are all done. The family room, formal living and kitchen are just about done. The bonus room and the office and our room are still UN done. One step at a time. We swam in the pool for three days straight. That of course was after we had to drain it and refill it. Our yard flooded a week ago in the big rains. It was BAD~ We trimmed all the oaks and they are breathtaking! By far my favorite part about this property. Darrin is looking up patio furniture as we lay here...
Aubrey's party was a huge success. Kids had a blast swimming and it was perfect weather! Easter was even better. 60 people here. Everyone brought food and we all sat outside at the tables I had set up for A's party. It was lovely! It was that weekend that it hit me that this is our house and what a house it is... perfect for entertaining which is what we love to do!
Liz has changed her wedding venue to Privett Casa. And I couldn't be more excited! Can't wait to see how a wedding comes off here. :)
Baby talk: I am 22 1/2 weeks now. And I am doing pretty good. I took notice of the fact that this one is being more gentle on my back. He/she likes to move now a lot! Didn't at first and it made me nervous at times... but all is working now. I was really running low on energy and passing out here and there (no big deal)... so I started taking iron pills. I am sure that will help. I still hit the gym 3 days a week and it feels good. When I went to the big 20 week ultra sound it was the first time I strayed from my thinking it was boy. I now think girl! The position the baby was in was hysterical. Legs all the way up over his/her head. And from the side angle you could see NOTHING... I am sorry, I just really feel that if it was a boy you would see something... again, not sure, we didn't look at the anatomy but I just felt different after that visit. WE WILL SEE~
Our new ward is good. Miss the old one still, but today was a good day at church.
I enrolled the kids in their "home" school and now I have to do open enrollment a week from Tuesday and I am feeling confident about them getting into Peachland... I sure hope so!! I will NOT send them to McGrath. EEE~ meanwhile the commute to Plum is killing me! But school is almost done already. We are almost in May!
I think I am pretty caught up. I will try to write again everyday!
Life is good~
